I was able to stay at The Barnsley Resort for the weekend while attending a blogger conference. I quickly fell in love with the resort.
Location:
The Barnsley Resort is located in Adairsville, Georgia. It is a 79 miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta airport. The drive is just short of an hour and a half.
We were able to get a sponsored car from Drive Mazda USA. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us and our luggage.
Barnsley Resort Overview
The Barnsley Resort is a beautiful countryside resort in Georgia. I was able to visit in the month of August. The weather was nice and warm, but not too hot and unbearable as it can be in Texas.
The resort is 33 acres of endless activities from horseback riding to spa days. There are so many activities to do! I was only able to participate in a few due to the nature of the conference.

Accomadations
At the Barnsley Resort you have options to stay in the main hotel area (the inn) with the other guest in their rooms or you can stay in the on site cottages.
The cottages range in sizes and how many people they accommodate. They are designed with English inspired decor and appearance.
We stayed in a hotel room in the main lodge. The room had double queen beds. It was a larger room. We had enough space for the both of us.
A few of our friends stayed in a cottage and they were so nice. They are each different in design, decor, and space.
The Georgian Hall
We spent most of our time in the Georgian Hall. It was beautiful and spacious. It could be used as a wedding venue as well. We had our networking event, sponsored lunch, and workshops their.
Manor House Ruins & Museum
The ruins were so pretty! As you walk up to the ruins at the Barnsley Resort you first enter into a beautiful garden with a water fountain. To the right side of the ruins their can be an outdoor wedding ceremony.
We had our breakfast at the ruins. It was gorgeous! In the evening it is outlined with lights.
Wedding Venue
There are so many options for weddings at the Barnsley Resort. While we were there several weddings were taking place. Since the resort is so large their is room for several weddings at once.
We were able to see the prettiest wedding set up adorned with fairy lights inside of the bamboo garden.

As mentioned before there are so many activities to do at The Barnsley Resort. The activities are as follows but not limited to:

One of my favorite activities to do at the Barnsley Resort was to sit around the fire roasting marshmallows and chatting with my girl friends all while stargazing at the beautiful stars above.
The Barnsley Resort is such a cute place for families to visit and vacation. It has a laid back feel to it and you can be sure that you will have a good time hanging out with your friends and family.
