Fancy sprinkles jennimetz bike flowers easy valentines snacks

Each holiday, I like to find ways to make it fun for my kids. I don’t generally have the time to pack them super cute bento lunches or all that other fun stuff so I try to make holidays more special.

These valentines day snacks are so easy to make! Most of them are already pre-made and the only tool needed is a microwave or a double broiler.

*Disclosure: I make a commission off of purchases from links and discount codes from my site. All opinions are my own. Thank you so much for your support of thefashionablemaven.com. I am an affiliate for Fancy Sprinkles.

All of these snacks only take a few minutes to make, most of them only require 3 ingredients or less. Lets dive right in!

Easy Valentines Ice Cream Float

Valentines ice cream float and easy valentine's day snacks

First up is this easy to make valentines themed ice cream float, its a spin off of the classic coke float but instead of coca cola, you substitute cherry soda. For this particular float I used 7up cherry soda but any brand that you favor will do.

I may or may not have mentioned this but I personally eat a gluten free and dairy free diet for digestive reasons, but more on that some other time. A great substitute would be to use dairy free ice cream. My favorite brand is the so delicious brand and use dairy free frosting to coat the rim.

The kids will love this treat! My boys were so excited to drink theirs. Here’s how to make them.

Valentine’s day Ice Cream Float recipe:

  • Vanilla ice cream of choice
  • Cherry soda
  • Candy melts, white chocolate dyed pink, or frosting
  • Fancy Sprinkle (because they are the cutest!) or sprinkles of choice

Preparation & How to:

  1. Rim your glass with candy melts. Another option can be white chocolate and/or almond bark that is dyed pink, or frosting is a good and an easier option.
  2. Dip it in sprinkles, work swiftly before it dries.
  3. Scoop vanilla ice cream into glass, I used 2 scoops.
  4. Pour in cherry soda.
  5. Top with whipped cream & more sprinkles.

Chocolate dipped Strawberries

Chocolate dipped strawberries are a Valentine’s day staple. Every year when I head to the grocery store around this time, I see them packaged up and ready to eat. How convenient! They are so easy to make at home and you can make them any way you like, your options are endless.

For all the people who are illiterate to tempering chocolate (me), almond bark is the best creation ever! I cannot for the life of me temper chocolate. I’m able to melt it but it doesn’t harden again. Cue almond bark, it comes in vanilla and chocolate flavors. It melts easy & hardens quickly!

I made ours fondue style!

Valentines day heart rice crispy treats

These valentines day treats might be my most favorite! They are so easy to make. You can use store bought rice crispy treats or home make your own. I tried it both ways to show you how easy it is. These maybe the most easy valentine’s day snacks on this list.

easy Valentines snacks: rice crispy treat and fancy sprinkles

Here’s what I did:

  • Use pre-made or homemade rice crispies.
  • Melt candy coating (I used these)
  • Fancy Sprinkles

Dip rice crispy treats in candy coating and top with sprinkles. Please advise: some of the sprinkles could pose a choking hazard for kids 3 and under.

You can gather the kids to help out with these snacks. My boys loved making them. I had them add the sprinkles which they enjoyed eating some of them along the way.
