I started my Instagram for my blog way before I actually had a blog. I’ve learned a few new things and now I feel better prepare to take on the blogging world. So early on I was able to be featured on Target’s awesome shop! It is a page that they have on their website that features pictures of instagrammer’s post and has their handle on the post. You can shop what you see in the picture that is from Target. It’s really neat and It was set up before you could shop on Instagram.
One night while my husband and I were watching a movie and I needed to pause it for a restroom break. Come on guys, we all take our phones with us. haha! I had posted this pic and I wanted to see how it was doing. This was literally the first month maybe the second month that I had my fashion Instagram. I was so over the top excited to see that Target, THE REAL TARGET (not all the fakes out there) wanted to use my picture. This was the first time this had happen to me. I jumped up and down and I showed my husband, I was speechless.
They gave my instructions on what to do. Use a certain hashtag, and agree to their terms. I did what they asked and then I didn’t hear from them for a few days. Then about 3 days later. I saw the Target symbol on my news feed again. They told me that my picture had been reposted in the awesome shop and gave me a url to find it and share. And They FOLLOWED ME! They are still Following me! I am still in awe after all these months!

I love Target and I always have. Always will. This was just the cherry on the ice cream for me. I just had to share because I think it is really cool.
The sunglasses are from Target. I was needing sunglasses and I asked my husband if I could get some. Money was a little more tight then, so I didn’t want to run off and make any purchase without his approvable. He told me I could spend no more than $20 and guess what? I found these and I love them! They are rose colored glasses.
It really was a neat way to start off my ‘blogging’ career, even though I was only an Instagram blogger at the time.
