Hi Friends! The time is upon us for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This year the sale is in July once again. I have shopped the Nordstrom anniversary sale for a few years now. Among other items SHOES are my absolute favorite purchases from the NSale. I have looked through the preview which is available now for the first time before the sale begins.

What to know before you shop
The Nordstrom anniversary sale opens to the general public on July 15, 2022. Early access for card members is staggered based on your Nordstrom Status, which is based on the amount of money you spend each year. For most people who have a Nordstrom Credit Card. You will be able to shop the sale on July 15, 2022.
Popular items tend to sell out the quickest. If you are on the fence about something, I would say purchase it and if you don’t like it return it otherwise it may sell out and you won’t have the chance to snag one until months later usually at full price.
This year since many stores are still closed you may be able to do curbside pick up. In the past this hasn’t been recommended as things tend to sell out quickly and may not be picked from the store associate until its too late. This year may be different though. Find out if your local store will be open and make a decision based off of that.
Don’t feel pressured to buy everything! Many things generally go on sale again eventually, but more toward the end of the season. My favorite pairs of boots and booties went on sale a few months later.

Sale items I own
Spanx Faux leather leggings
I purchased my first pair of Spanx faux leather leggings and I love them! I wore them all the time with everything. They are very comfortable plus they cute. They aren’t shiny but they have a sheen to them. Here are few pics on how I styled them but don’t be fooled I wore them all the time. I did notice that the sheen started to rub off on the knees and bum area over time, just FYI.
If these are out of your price point or you have tried them and they aren’t your favorite Nordstrom has a pair of faux leather leggings on sale for $39. I don’t have any experience with these so I can’t speak about them but they look similar from the pictures.
Zella Workout leggings
If you love workout leggings then this is for you. I purchased a pair of these Zella leggings last year and they are a great buy. What I love about them is that they are thick, but not extremely thick. I wore them so much as well. I basically live in leggings in the fall and winter season.
I would say they don’t entirely pass the squat test. If you are wearing white underwear you can see the white but other than that they are great! I freaking love these! They hold everything in and wash well. I have worn and washed them so many times and they still look great!
This year they come in 3 colors including black and mauve pink.
Vince Camuto Booties
This may have been my absolute favorite purchase from last year. I wore them more than any of my other purchases. There are so many ways to style them! You can wear them with shorts and a cute top on the warmer days or with jeans and a cozy sweater on cooler days. I’ve worn them with midi skirts and a tee too.
This year’s version is slightly different they have added a textile lining to the sides.
If you weren’t able to snag a pair last year I would go ahead and get your hands on this pair. I own the color Tortilla Suede but the other prints are really cute too!
Sam Edelman Knee High Boots
The Sam Edelman Knee high boots are really cute this year. I was able to grab a pair last year and they were the best investment. The suede is so soft and they are great quality shoes. I know so many of you bought these last year with me but I wanted to share this years release because of the color change. Boots are a closet staple and I would invest in a good pair. I have had these for 3 years now and they are worth the price, especially the sale price.
Think of these as investment pieces for your wardrobe. They will last you a long time and you are likely to be in style for a few years too.

They come in 2 colors this year and the heel is slightly different than last years pair. You can pair these with leggings, dresses, jeans and a cardigan, and mini skirts with flannel tops.
Moto leather Jacket
Earlier this year I bought a Moto leather jacket. A leather jacket is a closet staple and since I didn’t own one I was able to get one at the same price and look as this years sale pick item. I haven’t been able to take any picture in it yet, hello warm spring weather, but I cannot wait to share with you all the ways to style it in the fall.

Sale Recap
There are a lot of great finds this year. I would say buy the shoes you want and a couple of items to enhance your wardrobe. Tory Burch bags are a fun accessory to add, as well as, cardigans and leggings.
Public access is on July 15, 2022 and Early access for cardholders begins on July 6, 2022. The sale will end and prices will go back up on July 30, 2022.
