This cute fall work week outfit is your next go to outfit for your 9-5.
It has been a long time since I have had a job. Before I had my first born son 5 years ago, I used to work at a Head Start school as a social worker. The schedule was great because I would have most of the holidays off as the students.
The choice to leave the corporate world to be a stay at home mom was a huge one as well as a large financial sacrifice. I can say that I do not regret it one bit. Although, I do miss getting a consistent income and interaction with adults. It’s still so worth it to me 5 years and two more kids later.
When I was working, I was always on the lookout for cute, stylish and appropriate work week outfits. I always wanted to look my best and look cute as well.
My outfits would range from skirts and cute blouses to slacks and sweaters just like these. Cardigans and sweaters became staples since my office was so cold.
This sweater is an old one that I got from Target last year. I love striped sweaters so much. The key to a versatile fall work week outfit is finding a sweater that is thick enough to keep you warm but thin enough to keep you comfortable.
The pants are from Banana Republic. What caught my eye were the large gold buttons. I have always been drawn to large buttons. They accessorize the outfit so well!
For shoes, I chose a classic nude pointed toe pump. This outfit would also look cute with these heels or even these leopard slides!
Would you wear this cute fall work week outfit?
XO,
Jenni
